This hands-on workshop explains essential timing concepts and will get the participants feeling the beat, dividing beats, counting rests, along with tips on how to get the most out of your metronome. You will see how putting the metronome on specific beats can change the feeling or the groove of the music. Most will agree that playing ahead of the beat can sound nervous or filled with anxiety while playing a tiny bit behind the beat can sound “cool.” You will learn a metronome practice technique that will change your groove forever!
