Mandolin players, other instrumentalists and all music fans are offered a rare opportunity to interact with two artists at the top of their craft on the mandolin.

Don Julin (Traverse City, MI) and Tim Connell (Portland, OR) come together in Boise on Friday morning, April 5 to teach a masterclass on their shared instrument and on musicianship in general.

Musicians of all kinds are encouraged to bring a piece, or a short sample, or just a question to add to the mix. Don and Tim will also perform a few tunes together, and then talk about and demonstrate what was going on for them during the performance, happily taking questions from participants.
